#TestitTuesday is the day UK Fire and Rescue Services remind businesses and home-owners to do a weekly test of their smoke alarms.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has launched a new campaign to encourage people to test their smoke alarms as part of a weekly routine which we fully endorse and will be tweeting reminders to our followers on a regular basis.
Smoke alarms in your home or business premises can save lives. The early detection and warning provided by smoke alarms gives you and your staff or family time to evacuate in the event of a fire.
To test your Smoke Alarm – simply press the test button until the alarm sounds.
